Spring Lake Holiday “Sparkle”!
FOR YOUR SUPPORT THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
I know you have learned, as we have, that there are blessings in a year such as this one and it is even more true for Spring Lake, Michigan. We opened our beautiful Lilley Mansion B & B this year after the fanfare of moving it from its former location. We also launched a nonprofit called Lilley Cares which is not connected to the Mansion but named such because of the deep connection it has to this wonderful community.
We could never have accomplished as much as we have in this pandemic year without our amazing partners, sponsors, donors, and volunteers. The Village of Spring Lake Council has been an enormously impactful partner and we are eternally grateful. We owe so much to the Village Manager and the DDA who listened to our ideas, trusted our instincts, and believed we could make a vital impact in this beautiful community. Spring Lake is a destination now, not a pass-through to somewhere else.
An enormous thank you to Brant Daniel and Steven Duchon who gave us countless hours climbing on rooftops and designing the gorgeous light display tree by tree and building by building. “Sparkle” would not be the magnificent spectacle it is today without their efforts in particular. There are not enough words to convey our gratitude.
Louise St Amour, 5-Star Realty, is our main festival sponsor this year and we cannot thank her enough for believing in this event and our ability to make it shine. There is no room in this letter to thank the countless businesses and individuals who gave us time and treasure this year. We are humbled by the unselfish giving we find every day in Spring Lake.
Thank you to the residents of Spring Lake who have made us welcome in this charming Village. We came from a city where you can live for years and never know your neighbors: Spring Lake would never let that happen. You know who you are: thank you for your friendship and commitment. Please continue to reach out.

And finally, from all of us at Lilley Cares, the Board of Directors, and the staff at Lilley Mansion, thank you for your enthusiasm, your commitment, your love, and your faith in us.
