Accessibility Statement
Spring Lake Sparkle, an event hosted by Lilley Cares, is committed to making springlakesparkle.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
What Web Accessibility Means
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse and interact with our content with the same ease as other visitors, using the capabilities of their own devices and assistive technologies.
Our Accessibility Efforts
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. As part of that effort, we have:
-
Set a clear language and content structure across all pages
-
Defined heading structures on every page
-
Added alternative text to images
-
Used color combinations that meet contrast guidelines
-
Ensured videos and media on the site are accessible where possible
We're an all-volunteer holiday event, and accessibility is an ongoing effort — we're continuing to review and improve the site each season.
Physical Event Accessibility
Spring Lake Sparkle events are held at accessible community venues throughout Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, and Grand Haven, including the Epicurean Village courtyard and the Spring Lake Community Center. If you have specific accessibility needs for an upcoming event, please reach out ahead of time so we can help make arrangements.
